CSC Examinations
Graded examinations are scheduled, and qualified examiners are provided, for students across Canada. The purpose of these examinations is to give teachers and students specific goals to work toward and to maintain standards of development consistent with international standards.
There are five categories of Cecchetti examinations in Canada:

Standards 1-6
Senior Certificate |
Designed for children to develop enjoyment of movement and dance quality. |
| Grade Examinations |
Grades 1-6 |
Designed to be more technically demanding and to provide a solid artistic and technical base for advancement to higher levels. |
| Major Examinations |
Intermediate
Advanced 1
Advanced 2 |
Career oriented, with a high level of technique and artistry expected. |

A.I.S.T.D. - Associate
(Provisional registration)
A.I.S.T.D. - Associate Diploma (Full registration)
L.I.S.T.D. - Licentiate
F.I.S.T.D. - Fellow
(Highest level of teaching qualification, held by all CSC Examiners) |
Successful completion of these examinations leads to qualification with the CSC, ISTD, and CICB. |

Important Information about Cecchetti Examinations in 2009-10
For Information about the Related Subjects for Associate and Associate Diploma, Part 1 or Part 2 Examination, please contact: cecchettioffice@shaw.ca. Applications for the Related Subjects Exam must be requested from Head Office.
Only teachers registered with the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (Cecchetti Faculty) may enter their students for examinations. Results of examinations are monitored to ensure that the highest standards are maintained.
Deadline dates for Examination Estimate Submissions for 2009-2010:
