2010 National Summer School

The Manitoba Branch of the Cecchetti Society of Canada will be hosting the 2010 National Cecchetti Summer School at the Royal Winnipeg Ballet School.

The 5 day course will offer classes for teachers, students fro m Grade 5-Diploma level, and musicians.

Teachers’ program will include: Morning ballet classes, various syllabus classes focusing on the Advanced 2 and Diploma syllabi, Men’s pedagogy, Music, Pas de deux demonstrations, Dance Composition, and Qualifying Exam Preparation Classes. Panel lectures will also be scheduled throughout the week. Teachers will be able to view and participate in any classes offered within the student program. Classes will run from 9am-5pm.

Students’ program is a full day of classes from 9am-5pm which throughout the week will include: Morning ballet class, Pointe, Variations, African, Contemporary/Lyrical, Modern, and Movement Improvisation.

Upon receipt of registration and fees, participants will receive a confirmation email. An official receipt will be available upon arrival to the welcome breakfast and registration on Monday, August 2nd.
